This evening, my best friend Onir and I went to a carnival in Dartmouth. He came with us in our car because we both went to another kid named Quinton’s house earlier, so we went directly from there.
Around 25 minutes later, we arrived at the carnival. It was bigger than we expected! Soon we found the entrance. They had prizes, games, rides, and even food stalls. Since there was so much, it took a while but eventually we decided what to do first. We wanted to play a game where we have to fill a clear tube with blue water using a water gun. So, Onir’s dad paid five dollars to play the game, neither of us won. Some other little kid that got help from his dad won a stuffy.
We started to look around again to see what we could do. I wanted to try a ride called Zero Gravity with my dad, so he took me with him. The ride was impressive! You are supposed to stand in a big circle on a platform with a bunch of other people. Then, you put on a seatbelt and the platform starts moving really fast. After that ride we met up with Onir again and went over to a ride called: The Berry-go-round. There we met a few of Onir’s friends. The ride had 3-4 strawberry shaped compartments that go in circles. Best of all: they can fit multiple people so, all of us can go at the same time! When it was our turn, we all sat down, and then the ride started. We really enjoyed the ride.
After the Berry-Go-Round, I noticed my sister was also having fun on some smaller rides like the Merry-Go-Round. She thought we came here because it was her birthday (even though it wasn’t) and she thought everyone was here to celebrate her birthday! She was calling it her birthday carnival.
I was starting to get hungry, so I asked my dad if we could get some pizza. We went to the stand that sold pizza and got some food. After we ate pizza, Dad and I went to a ride called the star trooper and got in line. Then we got in and put on our seatbelt. The ride had a bunch of big seats with seatbelts that go in circles. After that ride we all went to a restaurant and ate an Indian food called biryani. Everyone really enjoyed the carnival.
